You're welcome.
Do not fear, it doesn't have to be too difficult or time consuming.
Don't know who'll be your partner, can we have a recruitment drive? (I offer a lens cap)

edit: you then would be with me and stillshunter, realized afterwards that this joke could be mishunderstood.

Final list and rules?

Coupled in October Challenge:
I am posting this again for reference as this appears to be the consensus.

By the way: reeftool has pulled out; so this is the final list.
The pairs would be as follows with the odd number resulting in the last 3 being a 'pair':

stillshunter
mdf

samski_1
NaClH2O

Wedgetail
psychdoc

Jimbow007
Icywarm

Bramela
Duh_Vinci
Flash Gordon

POSTING 'RULES' AGAIN:

-Post at least 1 picture in each category listed below per week in the Coupled in October album.
-Cannot use a lens if you purchased it after Sep 1 2010!!!!!!

Week of Friday Oct 1st – Sunday October 10th
1. Group Challenge: Long Exposure Challenge: longer than 15seconds
2. Partner Challenge: Subject and lens TBD by partner
Alternate challenge if partner missing: Moon: shoot a picture to include the moon.

Week of Monday Oct 11th –Sunday October 17th
1. Group Challenge: Interpret the title ‘The Road Less Travelled’
2. Partner Challenge: Subject and lens TBD by partner
Alternate challenge if partner missing: Bokeh: make your best bokeh

Week of Monday Oct 18th - Sunday October 24th
1. Group Challenge: Freeze Action: take a sharp picture of fast moving subject
2. Partner Challenge: Subject and lens TBD by partner
Alternate challenge if partner missing: F22 take a picture at f22 or higher

Week of Monday Oct 25th- Saturday October 30th
1. Group Challenge: Interpret the title: ‘Rhythm of my heart’
2. Partner Challenge: Subject and lens TBD by partner

When naming pictures include the challenge so that people know what category a picture is in. Eg: Long exposure, Moon, Bokeh etc.

Sunday October 31st :
Discuss challenge

BEST OF LUCK WITH SHOOTING. [WEDGETAIL: if you are still in what lens, what subject should I shoot]

1) My list of lenses is with my signature; but if it is not visible:
da35mm, da70mm, da50-135mm, sigma 18-200
2) No, there is no list to choose from for partner suggestions. Think of something or look online for inspiration...

I did send a PM but I may not have done it right and you may not have revieved it. And it appeared that you either only have 1 lens on your listed profile or I could not find it. So I did not choose a lens for you. I chose 'Frames" as your subject. By Frames, I was asking you to shoot a subject with something that is close to the subject being the frame. For example, if you were shooting a boat, the branches of a tree close to the boat could be the frame for the boat. You would not need a 'frame' on all 4 sides of the picture. Be creative!

Holy Cow, you do need LBA therapy

For 'Frames' your lens would be your sigma 10-20mm lens

[Fluid at work with the da50-135 for me? I have been too lazy to carry it around after getting used to the tiny da limited 35 and 70mm lenses. Should be a nice challenge. Thanks.]

FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO JOIN LATE OR PULLED OUT AND WANTS TO GET BACK IN:
-Use the 'partner missing' item for your second picture for each week.

DA*16-50/2.8
DA40/2.8

The only advantage to posting partner challenges here is that others get to see what kind of challenges people are coming up with. That is not a bad thing. That is one reason why I posted mine here. But that is up to you all...

[wedgetail: we can continue to post ours in here but I am ok with sending it to your email too if u want to]
