Now that the holidays are over there is no excuse for not getting back to the hobbies that we like best.

So far there have only been 40 photos submitted to the contest.

and I would like to see many more from all of you out there in Pentax land.I'll be the first to admit that I've been somewhat lax but it's a new year now and I'll will be getting more involved with my contest in the months to come.--charliezap

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series in 2010 - the team's first World Series win since 1954. This is a photo of a group of fans watching the Giants Victory Parade from a few stories up. The city of San Francisco was very happy! Go Giants!

I was one of the first on scene of this one. The guy had a six pack of long necks in the car, got drunk, drifted off the road and was thrown from his car. I stayed to watch the helicopter come in to pick him up.

at a religious parade on a sunday in Rome. with my Olympus since the pentax was back home. ( i was alternating with my 645)

It looks like the cutoff day for the contest will be sometime this coming September.
I should be retired from G.E. by then thereby giving me ample time to do a lot of the pleasures associated with retirement.
