Aloes flowering in abundance at the moment
The aloes are pretty, but the stairs are really neat.

That is just too cool and depressing. Talk about a dehumanizing environment, stripped of all that is natural and beautiful. Where are we headed? Where are we now? Are we glad to be where we are now?

Two natural patterns 1) a wonderful yellow & orange fungus - an alternate version of this image posted on the forest-walks, fungus etc. thread; an 2) an abundance of small flowers in a cluster, some type of viburnum (?)

Thanks Noel. High-rise apartments always give me the creeps. I just cannot imaging a bleaker place to live short of prison.
I'm with you there Walt. Gots to have lots of space between me and my neighbors and I do like my earth contact house, always just a little bit under ground

As one song says: "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot;" and as another says: "I'd rather be a forest than a street - - - - I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet, yes I would, if I only could, I surely would."
