A classic pattern for floor tiles. It can be mesmerizing if you stare at it a while.

Fungus that was probably growing on this paper birch before it fell, so the fungus is wrongly oriented. Many of them are sprouting "babies" that have a correct, horizontal orientation. Kids never take direction for their parents.
