The Turkish Cemetery

In the grounds of the Murad Reis Mosque... has to my favourite kirkyard of anywhere in the world...

So tranquil and peaceful... an escape from the hustle and bustle of the modern world, while still so visually stimulating.

Being Dumb

A major fail... I'm definitely losing it.

So busy composing an image on the "Honda"... I never saw that barrier.

I've photo bombed by an inanimate object...

Next Purchase

Next time I order my $100 million yacht... a must have requirement is to include a straight imperial staircase like this.

One Of Three Phrases

Spring to mind... "bad hair day", "just washed it..." but my favourite "windswept and interesting".

Following your image of a graveyard, here are two pictures of the Old Jewish Cemetery in Prague, used from the mid 1500's to 1787 when burials were banned from within the city limits. Because this was the only place where Jews were allowed to bury their dead, it is tightly packed with some 12,000 stones, but below these interments may be stacked as many as 12 one atop the other with an estimated 100,000 total interments.
