The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. The creator put no particular meaning on the design.There are no names or numbers on the blocks, and no special significance to the number of blocks nor their arrangement (some of them have a different orientation from the set in this image). Unfortunately the cement used to make the blocks is already deteriorating so some of them have developed cracks and must be repaired or they will start disintegrating, an additional expense on what was initially a very expensive project.
