This thread has fallen idle for a bit. Hoping to prod a little interest, the image below is a detail of a "prestige hat" of the Kongo people. As the name implies, these are worn by people highly respected in their community. They are made only by the most highly skilled weavers, and in addition to the complex, precise weaving, there are usually some kinds of ornaments attached. The examples on display had shark teeth attached, undoubtedly a rare item where the hats are made and worn.

Is it ok to post NON-Pentax/Ricoh images in this thread? I have a Panasonic LX-7 that I have some texture shots from that I wanted to add.

I don't think the members here are so snobbish as to reject other light gathering tool images. I certainly don't and there are a number of folks who post their images regardless of the brand. Just my $0.02.

LOL - I feel like if it were another DSLR that would be really over the top unless it was a Pentax lens. But with the backup cameras I feel like it's viable for some threads.
