Good idea Mike and well captured. Paleo Pete, what is it that you have posted ?

Here's a facade covered with gold foil.


... and a close-up. It looks out of focus and oversharpened, but that is just the way it looks.

Everyone seems to have a shot like this (but that doesn't make me like it less ).

This was my S.i.N. submission for today.

This was with an Auto Sears 50mm f2 manual lens.

Specs: f/8, 1/50", ISO-100

This is the original image:



and here with a 100% crop. I liked the clarity (the resize hurts it a bit):
