Texture, pattern ? How about the tension between similarities of design and differences in paint scheme, condition, and positioning in this assemblage of derelict beverage and snack machines outside of a long shuttered filling station in Vermont, Illinois?





Size 120 Ilford XP2 Super 400, at 320.

a close up of a snake, its scales, the coloration and pattern is always interesting to me

An image taken at the same time as the one above that also, IMHO, profited from cropping to a possibility not originally seen. I wonder if a slightly deeper crop would be even better.
