Pretty straightforward woven patter, except perhaps that is basket fragment is Ancient Pueblo (AKA Anasazi) from about 1150AD

DA15 + K5 - ceiling of an old skyscraper in Tokyo. the bright area in the middle is the sky. we can see the sky from the ground floor and the building is 52 stories tall. It is in fact very close to Pentax square in Shinjuku.

more natural texture

more natural texture formed by parts of a tree found in the rain forest at the Topeka Zoological Park

and yes those "saw teeth" are as sharp as they look

in the second photo, you can see some green fronds which as they age and die, turn color and are forced down

not sure of the type of tree

kinfa odd looking

the top doesn't seem to match -

the weathered wood shakes make a nice pattern but the "aged" look doesn't match the new wood look of the rest of the structure
