Not sure if this is a pattern or an abstract - structural and decorative elements going this way and that. It's an elevator shaft, glassed in, at an art museum.

When I saw the modified pictures, my first thought was, "Somebody's head is stuck in 1968 !".

For me, that was a good year. M and I got serious, got engaged, and in '69 made promises that have lasted a bit over 50 years.

Thanks. I think that's the filter called "poster edges." Makes the image look like cut-outs.

The old Fulton County Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot, Lewistown, Illinois. Affectionately known as the Spoon River Peavine, this narrow gauge RR line once included the curviest stretch of tracks east of the Rocky Mountains. Later, it was straightened somewhat, converted to standard gauge, while becoming part of the C, B & Q (Chicago, Burlington & Quincy), more recently part of the Burlington Route, before finally being abandoned as rail line.
