We know a spot in one area where we walk where the mountain laurels are almost overwhelming. This doesn't begin to show all the blossoms on a single bush as some of them are 15~20 feet tall (up to ~5 meters). Repetition and pattern - yup!

K3 & DA10-17 at 17mm and a lot of defishing and croping in Photoshop. I should have the 21 with me but hey! Nothing in life is perfect, and I'm fine with that.

A small jpeg file of some flowers, I believe they were shot with a Fujinon EBC 200mm

That is a really awesome picture. I've been away from the site since you've been a member, so I just spent some time looking through some of the other pictures you've posted. Holy cow! You've got so much talent! Dense urban scenes fascinate me, and you have a great eye at catching what makes them so interesting. I hope I can rise to your level one day.

Partridgeberry making a texture on the forest floor. Some places here there are much larger expanses covered with these pleasant little plants, but images don't adequately record what it's like to be there looking at so large an area of very small leaves & flowers.
