Post your Sculptures and Statues!

I hope the title says it all. I did not find any theme like this so here goes.
Looking forward to your photos, Georg (the other)

Nice statue Javier and no need to be sorry. I am trying to change the thread title to make it more inviting.

The artillery portion of the Ulysses S Grant memorial in Washington DC, by Henry Merwin Shrady. He spent 20 years working on all of it and died two weeks before it was dedicated.

Two very different sculptures from Calgary. I am afraid I don't know the artist in either case. This was put up in honour of a local competitive rower:

This sculpture outside a downtown office building captures a fossil commonly found in this area.

Thanks all for your contributions, love to see a good variety of subjects and photography styles coming through.
I have dropped the originator-stuff completely, as I do not want anything to keep you from posting.

Keep 'em coming !

This statue was near the entrance of the bird house at the St. Louis Zoo, I have no idea who it is supposed to be, but I liked it.

From the cemetery in Genova, if you ever are in Italy and close to Genova, it's very worth paying a visit.

I swear:

Broken Glasses (and the statues look so real sometimes)
