Gudday all from downunder!

There's a spot runnin' for spare shots from each day if you're interested?

Join the Group : Monthly Photo Challenges - Extras (set up originally by Mick [Uccemebug]) in September), and you can dump extra shots...there's some interesting stuff there! We're doing one for each day as you will see, which keeps the size manageable!

If you don't know about this...give it a go...!

Cheers Paddy

Iris: quick question...is the lens you're shooting the Takumar "Bayonet" 135:2.5 or an older screwmount? The IQ you're getting is very nice and if it's the "Bayonet" version, the writeups seem a bit low.

How nice to see a question just for me
Thanks for your kind words.

Yes it is the bayonet version!
I haven't read anything about this lens, but I know it does not have a good reputation.
The only thing I can say is that the previous owner was quite happy with the results.
So perhaps I have a good version of this lens.

Awesome stuff everyone so far...I so wish I could be in on this one with you all. Unfortunately I think I made the right decision by bowing out this month as the hospital practicum is pretty much consuming most of my daylight hours this month.....so much to learn for a wee newbie student like me...but loving it at the same time.
Keep up the great stuff everyone 1/3 of the way there!

I have to quit SiN challenge too.

It was an accident though. I had to be at a conference in Los Angeles and was there 5 days. I decided I would only take one lens, the DA 35mm that I was using. But I somehow took the wrong lens the DA 70mm in my hurry to get to the airport. Only realized it after my first shot. I got plenty of pics with that lens but I cannot post those in SiN...

Just post them at half size (DA70 / 2 = DA35 right?)

Seriously, just pick up where you left off.

I didn't get to take a picture today, only rain, rain, rain and I may have a WR camera, but no WR lenses. Should I post a spare or do 2 tomorrow?

That's so totally not interesting.
I don't have an external flash (yet), don't want to bump the ISO up and I don't think there's something nice to show. I know, I can always take a shot of my computer, but I'm not in the mood for that. Well, I've got a couple of hours, I'll think about it.

Karen, no interesting furniture? patterns? Surely there's something in your home worth shooting.

And if you have extension tubes, do a macro...it's still with the same lens.
