So, I have to make up my mind. Any suggestions as to which lens I should choose from the list below?
- A 35-70mm F3.5-4.5 (an underrated lens, for sure, optically identical to the F-version)
- Helios 44K-4 58mm F2
- A 135mm F2.8
- Takumar 55mm F1.8
- M 35mm F2
I would not mind seeing what you can do with the A 35-70mm since it gets little love. The Helios 58mm would be interesting as well. I'm not sure we are helping you at this point.

Why not use the M 35mm F2?

I probably use the M 50mm F/1.7. I stopped using it after I bought the FA 50mm F/1.4.

Peter thanks for the invite. I think I'll give this a go with my DA 10-17 Fisheye.

I considered the 10-17mm too, should be fun. I went with the manual 28mm because I'm not getting on with it very well. I need to practice manual focus at f2 and I need to figure out the exposure on the Kiron. The Green button isn't working very well.

Great! It wouldn't be "Single In ..." without an Albertan with a fish-eye lens! 8^)

I have a Kiron 80-200 mm macro as well but am saving it for Single in January when I have more time. to play with it.

So......I'm giving the Lensbaby Muse a shot. New learning curve for me trying to figure this thing out.

I'd like to join in as well, I have a little more free time now, and will try to do better this time.

I'd just like to use the DA 21mm Limited lens, if that's ok with everyone? Or I could use the A35-70mm zoom macro?

Cheers from Jack.

I'm in with my 10-20 Sigma. I'm also going to try to stick to only the 10mm end. This isn't going to be easy. But it will be fun (at least for the first couple of weeks).

LOL...... I think I'm screwed!

This sucker is hard to learn...been practicing for the last couple days and every shot except one has been so-so. The decent one ended up on flickr explore so I must be doing something fairly right.
But mannnnnn.......why did I have to pick this lens?
