We really are a mottly crew, with cameras in our hands,
'coz peace we spread among us all, from every wide far land.

Stillshunter put a challenge out, 12 days of Yuletide fair,
and asked us all to join him, if anyone would dare!

So fellas from around the world, did answer to the quest,
in sleet, or snow, or searing heat, we'de show our very best.

Of Christmas in our country wide, and what it means to us,
the little things that we all see, without the bloody fuss!

Of smiles on children's faces, a'waiting for that day,
or maybe the unlucky ones, then what are we to say?

So thank you all for joining in, to share this Christmas cheer,
with everyone around the world, and things that we hold dear.

We really are a mottly crew, with cameras in our hands,
'coz peace we spread among us all....
From every bloody land.

Cheers Paddy

Paddy, as we quite often say in Australia:

Don't leave your day job!

Cheers big ears.

Great work Paddy.

Alright folks we now have our anthem! Now all's left is for us to shoot!

So it begins today. Best of luck and I, for one, can't wait to see the results from our new little band of brothers...and sisters!!!!

I guess it depends on where you live, here (in Italy) it's still the 13th, for one hour.

@Photolady, birthday cake with Christmas candles, what a great way to start the challenge.

I don't like birthday cakes, or any other kinds of cakes. And where I live I doubt anyone would buy or make me one either. I'm a pie person.

You know what Paddy, when I sign up for challenge like this, there are two things I'm looking forward to:
1) seeing what everybody comes up with
2) Paddy's "limericks"

seriously man, without you these pages would be much duller

Pielady, eh I mean Photolady, Happy Birthday!!!!!
I'm not going to sing, don't want to ruin your day.

And yes, it's the 14th here too and I'm cracking my brains out what kind of picture to take. Well, I've got more than 14 hours before the day ends.

@ Karen, there must be some nativity scenes somewhere nearby? Actually, I'd be happy to see the dogs with tinsel collars!

My first photo is up. All I can say is yum, and <<burp>>

Cheers from John
