I'm happy for giving you a laugh, Jools.
BTW, stop calling me KarenH, it makes me feel like I'm some kind of criminal
Call me Karen, please.

It's something you asked for yourself, with that H behind your name

It's fine, like Rense said, I did put it there myself.

Enough off topic, lets move on to Christmas things again.

I've got a feeling, the dogs don't agree.

I'm going to give it a try - my first time in a photo contest - so exciting!!
Unfortunately I'm going to be travelling in North America, so I won't be able to deliver the wonderful sights of Christmas in Japan, and with working all day and staying in various hotels where I don't know where I am will definitely be challenging, but I'll give it a shot! I look forward to getting lots of honest and withering criticism!

So we have a choice.
We can observe the traditional 12 days of and shoot from the 25 December to January 6. Otherwise, we can document the lead-up to Christmas in our different regions; from 14-26 December. I'm not a stickler either way, but considering folks obligations over the break, I'm happy to hear people's preferences. I'd put it to the vote - though I can't figure how to set-up a voting thingy. So a verbal will have to do:

1. 25 Dec - 6 Jan, or
2. 14 - 26 Dec?

....now this is democracy in action folks
See, we should have done an 8-days of Hanukkah theme, pretty sure everyone agrees which 8 days those are supposed to be

I want to be in on this too. I have a question. Does it have to be from the 12th only? Can the photos be from before that date. Christmas is celebrated?? in SA long before then. More like from October already, which means that there are a lot of photo opportunities for this thread. And seeing that I may not get the time to visit some of these venues where Christmas is celebrated, from the 12th, it would be nice to post photos from before that opening date. For example, yesterday at the local botanical gardens, it was Christmas Carols in the Park, starting at 18:00 (just before dusk) complete with bands, Santa and fantastic atmosphere. Got a few shots too.

Thanks

Noel

You are correct. He is as impressed with the festivities, as I am.

Welcome to you too! Great to have you aboard. And I guess NA will give you enough
opportunities to shoot Christmas..... Until you're sick of it......
