Cool looking scene. A view like that is what got me into fog shots shooting a Pentax KX 35mm years ago. Road going into town had a couple hundred acres of cow pasture layered in fog like that all the time.

Thanks to everyone uploading fog pics. When i can't get out, its fun to look thru this thread and get my "fix".

East Coast is having a lot of snow, while this year, us west coasters have very little snow. So drove to Mt Ranier recently. First day was classic good weather - blue skies and all those things us foggers despise

Second day, woke up and it was overcast and lightly raining. But we drove up to the Paradise parking lot - locked out at night - and half-way up - drove into this wonderful fog bank due to colder temps at higher elevations.

Got to the parking lot and only 4 cars were parked compared to the 30 we had seen the day before. Fog covered everthing. cars with skiers i assume would drive up, see the fog and turn around and leave after seeing the fog - without stopping

I snapped pics of the only skiers we saw that morning, put our boots on and walked uphill a bit to experience what my brother said was "almost white-out conditions". So cool.

Scenic overlook outside Jacksonville Tx, at a roadside rest area. Normally you can see about 30 miles. Here it fades into fog at about 15 miles or so.
