Fun to just post into a thread without competiting! Taken last fall here in Lachine- one thing I find interesting is how that when shooting in fog, the denser the better! The camera reads the light and opacity much differently than our eyes.

Thanks Willem. I had a hard time deciding whether to convert to B/W or leave in the muted colors that the mist left because I liked the rust on the fence.

I think as a whole everyone has captured the stillness and monochrome quietness of fog extremely well...I live on the coast of British Colombia and in the winter a day without fog usually means it's raining...

WOW...excellent stuff, I never expected this many killer shots to show up.

A couple more from my various foggy mornings.

Not a great shot but I couldn't pass up this heron sitting in a tree, actually too far away to shoot but I did anyway
