Didn't sleep too well, awoke early and was greeted with this view of the Loch... makes me wonder what else I must miss on other mornings.

I took this in January and it's my first attempt at the Orton effect. I'm not sure I like it but it does lighten the image compared to the original without blowing the highlights. Slight blue cast to it and the trees don't look natural.

Grasmere in the Lake District.
