not the ideal lens for capturing dragonflies, but I had the DA40 with me and the model didn't seem to mind...

it's cicada season here - this one was resting with dew covered wings; after I shot him, I carefully picked him up and let him shake the dew off so he could fly/escape easier...



(as far as we are concerned, these are the sound of summer)
