Talking of wasps, this one was photographed a few days ago, nectaring on a sedum flower.

Ants. This species folds over and stitches together leaves to make a little pod-house. They've emerged in angry numbers after I tapped on their Eco-friendly tent. Guess they don't welcome visitors. Some kind of curious-interesting white mite off to the left.

A mango tree in Thailand had ants doing the same. Many nests but maybe the same colony.
Your ants are pretty with the green abdomens.
