Striped horsefly, studio image of a dead specimen (found, not killed). The eye-stripes are not especially prominent on this specimen. They are more striking on some pictures I've taken of a live striped horsefly

Leafhopper, the most colorful one I know in this area. Genus Graphocephala with several species around the USA, this one is probably C. coccinea.

Calopteryx, a popular damselfly to photograph, unique dark wings, tends to perch repeatedly within its territory which commonly includes several other individuals. Very shallow DOF with the 200m macro. The face and two nearside legs are in the POF, but especially the distal tips of the wings go way into the bokeh.
