European Skippers, according to my butterfly book. There were thousands of them, swirling up from the mud puddles as we approached.

The worm in the picture invaded my wife's green bean plants.He is still on the green bean he claimed as breakfast. He is now an occupant of the easement behind the house. Taken with my K-S2 and Sigma 105mm macro.
