I'll confess I've never read the book, but I did see the Disney movie adaptation a very long time ago, and it was OK, more or less, or less.

Well my daughter has the Disney+ streaming. Maybe it's on there.

Depends on whether there's anything in it that might be offensive to First Nations people. Song of the South is not available, and the in the original version of Dumbo the song of the crows (When I see an Elephant Fly) has been expunged.
