Thanks Karen. I don't want to sound biased, but this little boy, Sam, is a real blessing. I could not ask for a better natured more loving little boy. And would you believe, he is just over 18 months old. A very VERY big boy for his age

I better shut up, I am rambling here. Maybe my pride in my grandson has got the better of me. ! Sorry guys.

Brilliant bloody idea!

My worst I reckon stemmed from a night of little sleep, and while to the naked eye it looked good, it lacked a lot in execution...such was SiN.

Don't know about the best, but the one I felt happiest about, was a wee bit o' my heritage!

I'm enjoying looking at what we all think "best and worst!" Well done to all BTW!

Cheers Paddy

Jack...you're an idiot! Well done...luvyasenzahumour!

Bruce..just coz you're not earning income from the towers doesn't mean it's your worst..non ionising radiation levels aside that is! You're favourite was your best I thought!

Cheers Paddy

Here is my best and worst once again (re-post).
Worst - Just didn't work. I think I was in to much of a hurry on this one.

Best - Still like the way this one turned out.

Thanks Paddy. My favourite shot, I decided not to put it in the book, or at least, "she who must be obeyed" decided she didn't want it in there.
Oh well, that's the way it goes I reckon.

Worst is easy simply because it just does not fit the rest at all. A little too easy perhaps.

Having trouble with "best." I have a lot of favorites. This is one of them.

Outtakes

These are favorites in the sense that I saw potential but the final result simply did not work for various reasons.

A favorite outtake that just did not work out... the garbage cans at the bottom need to be moved. This was more a scouting shot. In some ways i like this staircase better than the one in the British Center. This one is from Woolsey Hall, quite close to that classic colonnade that I shot.

Of the "lines" series this had a lot of interest for me based on the shadows, but simply ended up not clean enough based on the landscape beyond and the reflection which was polarizer resistant. I don't know, I saw something in this that falls flat. Interestingly, there are shadows on the rocks that are broken up and lost in this exposure. Looking at it from another angle and they pop right up. But much of the interest goes away. This just falls flat. This is that little courtyard in the Health Plan that I found. i did get one decent shot out of this spot...

Like we said before Woof, you should make a whole book with those shots.

An outtake, personally I find this shot better than the other dog shots I've put in the SIN album, but didn't want you all put thru another dog shot. It was the last day of month.
Taken for the 52 week for dogs group on Flickr.

I don't have a dog right now, but my sister just bought a new Pommie for my bil for Christmas. I hope to get a few photos of him soon. Their last one, Sunshine, passed away this past spring at the ripe old age of 13. I have a fair few photos of her. My sister also gave me a coffee cup last year for my birthday with Sunshine's photo all over it. The photo was one I took of her. She's wasn't photo happy either. I'd pick up the camera and she'd turn her head away from me. Silly little girl. I loved that dog. Still miss her.
