I'm not impressing myself at all this month. I have to say that the 28mm was far easier to do this with. Most of all though, I feel exhausted. My son is teething (again) so I'm getting 5 hours of sleep and that combined with stress at work is really draining my creativity. I still take photos daily, if only to exercise my will.
Sorry to hear this!! Great you are still going on.

I haven't had much time to look at the other albums, but I hope I have some time this weekend

Tons of spares today as the fog and general January misery forced me out of town for a drive. I took the DA 15, 21 FA 35 and DA 70 with me. It was very nice to be able to switch around as I have been shooting almost exclusively with the 15 all month. One thing I noticed was that I have already gained it's point of view, so I knew the shots I could take with it by looking through my eyes and not the lens. That alone makes this month worth it :-)

I finally had some time to look all the albums, but haven't seen every picture yet!
Too bad I don't have time to comment on everything, but I enjoyed looking what I saw very much.
Great work..

My enthusiasm is still very high, it's just the creativity I lack.

Perhaps the 55mm FL is holding me back?

I share you feeling John. Not my favorite focal length, but it is still a fun lens to "discover".

0ºF here this morning. Clutch was sticking in the car. Pretty cold by our standards.

still in the - 24-25 range this am but warmed up enough to start snowing again
by tomorrow we are expecting +1c apparently (which means more gray skies since if they are blue it's also damn cold which i would prefer the sunlight was rejuvenating yesterday)
Will look further at the weekend results today but I've seen some pretty nice stuff guys (including the 55 jack)

I had a great weekend, photography wise, with warm and sunny weather. But today I had to cheat and post a spare from yesterday. I saw lots of potential shots downtown this morning but could not bring my camera because I had to go to the courthouse with my son who had a couple tickets to pay for watching the eclipse last month on what turned out to be private property (enjoy the young fellow of yours Voytech before he is keeping you up at night with more than teething!). Of course cameras are not allowed in the courthouse (in fact it is akin to going through airport security to enter) and by this afternoon heavy dark clouds had come in. The opportunity to find a decent picture did not present itself.

Otherwise, I have to say I definitely feel that taking part in this challenge with a focal range I have never properly explored has taught me a lot about "seeing" and I have produced a few images I am very proud of.

And whew, only one week left!

Noted!

I have to admit... I am POSSESSED by the Leica 28mm. HOLY S*** that thing is sharp. Wide open it's as sharp as anything else I have at f8. Color me amazed. The hard part of this challenge will be putting the Petri back on the camera!
