Haha, while I'm flattered, I'm pretty sure our son takes after his mommy.

Enjoy the challenge! Only ONE DAY LEFT!

Public Service Announcement:

The SiN book is ready for ordering (give it one hour from now).

Great!!! Does it have the same optical formula as the Tak 55/1.8, or was it redesigned? I will search for that.....
I decided: I will use my Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 55mm F1.8 for the challenge....

Supposedly they are the same. A forum member here let me borrow his K55 for a couple weeks. I didn't do much side by side but I still couldn't tell you the difference between them (aside from the mount). I've since returned the K55 and sold the SMC Takumar.

I'll mount the Petri today and see if it's worth the frustration. If not, I'll be going with the M50/1.7.

Happy New Year boys and girls and good luck and fun with the SIJ.

@Rense, too bad you won't use the Helios, would have loved to see whirly bokeh's. But maybe Spring's better for that.

Happy new years to everyone.

I'm going on a hike with the wife & friends. I'm forcing myself to take ONLY the 28mm instead of my 10-20 and 16-45.
