Photo I took of a nice lady I'd been dating a few weeks at the time, and am now married to. I set it so only a little bit of her hair was in focus. Still one of my favorite photos of her.

And a little kid running through the water sculpture/splash pad thing at Silver Beach in St. Joseph Michigan. This one wasn't intentional, just a longer exposure than the motion of the subject (or of my hands, maybe) could stay sharp in, but it looked good.

Trying to catch the summery feeling of cottonwood fluff drifting through the air everywhere. But I may have just succeeded in making people think my lens/sensor was really dirty

Sorry. I tweaked the photo after posting and it broke the link to the preview image. The main image URL didn't change. Still getting used to Flickr.

This was taken with a K28mm f3.5, one of the best resolving, sharpest lenses of its kind...so for a change I tried this - crowd bokeh created by focusing on the head of a spectator sitting in front of me. I've posted a photo of that head, with the bokeh behind before, but I don't think it works as well as this.
