I think I first saw such bottle-rack yard decorations in Maine, but using a variety of shape color and size bottles. Probably started as a recycle-reuse idea, but grown popular enough that you can now purchase purpose-made bottles of uniform color.

I kind of see it as red neck yard art. The rest of the yard this was in was cluttered and unkempt. The grass was in need of cutting, the flowerbeds full of weeds, and the house was long overdue for some paint and TLC.


That is why I chose the angle I did, looking towards the street.

Beer bottles on an old crankshaft would get more redneck points (the crankshaft coming from one of the ten dead cars in the front yard)
