Six days since the last post on this fascinating thread. The image below is actually pine pollen floating on a pond (if I am allowed some alliteration) with super-saturation and few other PP tweaks. So I guess this is a scummy image.
Great!

Thank you. It is sometimes fun to push the adjustments sliders all the way to their limits to see what it does to a so-so image,

Yeah, I also do this more than sometimes. It‘s fun, doesn‘t cost anything except your time and is an important part of learning how to use the tools we get with the software.

Time for me to get away from the straight and narrow, and head towards abstractions

Boiling water

X-posted this one

And this one

Lucky to get this one, as I was firing away with the camera, shooting bubbles. This is one just bursting

And the bark of a Eucalyptus tree always provide material

And the wake of a duck too

Dankie! = Thank you!

Should I stray or should I go??
I particularly like this one- Ivy pulled of a wall, to reveal its footprinrts

Oddities on a corrugated roof

Colourful rubber bands

Stretched out

No idea what this is, but I was told it's a bit of ceiling that decided to exercise some rebellion

These creative blur images of daisies were captured with my K-S2 at shutter speeds of 1.3 seconds and 3 seconds. Processing was in Lightroom 4 and Viveza. I welcome any expressions of preference — by PM if you prefer not to comment in this thread. Best wishes!

I prefer the first image, which is the least abstract. It creates a "seen in passing" or "caught out of the corner of my eye" or a similar half-seen, half-remembered experience.

I did not stick around long enough to find out, I jumped in the TARDIS and away I went.

It just struck my imagination that the rubber bands could almost pass for a miniature Chihuly work.
