Post Pentax Panning Photos!

I didn't see a thematic thread for panning shots after a quick search in this section; thought it might be fun since that's a lot of what I do with my camera.

What are you using in terms of SR, Focus (manual or auto), lenses (, long, zoom, prime, etc), and monopods

Mine are mostly of motorsports but post whatever you like if you panned it!

K10D w/ DA 50-200 & SR off, no monopod

1/90th, f/11.0, 50mm, ISO 100

1/90th, f/9.5, 58mm, ISO 100

Let's see what else is out there!

wow that's interesting Iris. Definitely something I would never think to take a panning shot of.

Not the best, but not bad considering the super dim conditions. (ISO 6400)

Took this shot while on an airboat tour in the Everglades. It isn't sharp but there is something about it I like.

Here is one while I was sitting on a bench in vancouver...

Also, can I put rig shots or rolling(car to car) shots in this thread?

Rig shots aren't really panning shots I don't think but they look amazing... I'm planning to build a rig this summer. The car to car shots could be posted - lets see 'em!

I made this shot my computer background at 1980x1050

Don't take a lot of panning shots, but I do have this one. And it's my 1,000th post.

Bike race

A lot of cars in this thread, all of them great. Here's something different.
It's taken while crouched in an opening in the barriers while the riders go by 4 feet away from me at 30mph.

f14, 1/100, ISO 200. Off camera fill flash from ground level. Tons of luck.
