Well, not necessarily best... favorites all though... I shifted during the year, from landscape to trying to learn architecture. Not necessarily in the order taken though generally close.

A copy of this was stolen from the local agricultural fair, so someone else's favorite too...

That's a "Prarie Dog" a rodent that lives on the praries here in the US, they live in communities, and have a network of borroughs to escape predators, kind of like Meerkats... Prairie dog - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia And I WISH that was my Lambo, haha

Damn. Once again, the Pentax Forum ups the ante. I think I need to work a lot harder in 2011.

Simon,

#2 is absolutely haunting! Would love to see it larger.
#7 The expression is so funny! As if it's thinking about what to do next.

Don't know if they're my absolute best, but every one of them I'm fond of whether for color combos, lines, memories, or just not flubbing a "one chance to get it right" kind of shot. What I found interesting while going through them is that only 2 of the 10 are from AF lenses, most with glass over 30 years old, and 6 of the 10 manual exposure. Gotta love Pentax for the backwards compatability!

My favourite 10 of 2010

It was hard work choosingmy favourite/best 10 shots of 2010 but these are what I settled on.

Tunisian girl in the Tunis medina

Fafa Island in Tonga (I'm dreaming of the tropical weather a lot lately)

Street artist at work in the Leake Street tunnel in London

Fish market in Nuku'alofa, Tonga

London lucky to be in the right spot just as the light was perfect

Rainbow Lorikeet at home in Australia

Autumn deer rut in Bushy Park, SW London

Pochard getting that itch, WWT Wetlands in London

Western Province of Papua New Guinea. This sharpness is why I won't part with my copy of the DA 50-200

Candid of my daughter shortly before her 1st birthday
