wow, I am overwhelmed by how many great bench photos there are... this has gone from calendar material to a coffee-table book.

Majik, The old lady trying to read the paper also choked me up...

Gashog, I would not want to sit on that bench in shorts!

SpecialK your images are always interesting, the human story attached to them always gets to me.

Woof, that bench is a work of art, and the photo is stunning!

Richard, great shot great perspective. Lovely!!

Jeff, where are those benches?

okay... edit, I just went back a page and saw how many I missed. Great photos, all of them!!!

Great bench woof. Did you try it out to see how comfortable it was?

Well, here is my covered picnic table again... but a winter view taken yesterday. We had our winter camp over the weekend.

Thanks kindly! Well, I did not try the bench in this snow. It faces generally west, so I have sat there many times in spring and summer watching the barn swallows feed while the sun goes down.

woof!

dcmsox2004 ... I like it! The photo has a very monochrome look that works well. And it's such an elaborate fancy roof for a simple park bench. Nice!
