Damn Eddy, it brings memories of necking with weird Heather after borrowing her dad's Camaro for the drive down. I don't remember that pad though. What have they done to my beach?

this is out the landfill end near the harbour entrance facing the islands

I spend a lot of time there. a hue number of my Single in Pics end up coming from there (Kind of like you with Algonquin without all the natural beauty for inspiration- though on some summer days.... lol)

Beautiful vivid colors - I love shooting at sunset, gives so much character to the shots. How are you & the DA14 getting on by now? Looks like a killer lens -

I'm enjoying it sometimes, but it doesn't make getting the shot of the day easy like a nice fast 50 can. but once you are in the zone with it it's a great lens. I've had it for a long while now (basically bought it the year of release with my ds) and at points i've used it a lot, and for a while now it's been sitting unloved while i shoot all the other lenses and cameras (i really need to think about paring down)
good to get back to it.

From one of my favourite haunts Opeongo Lake. This bench has been posted here before, but, it's getting close to spring now.

That looks like a fairy tale house. Do they keep princesses who aren't allowed to date up in that tower? They probably boarded up the windows after Rapunsel escaped.

Well, since you asked...

The Doctors House Museum is an authentically restored Queen Anne-Eastlake style home built around 1888. The two story house originally stood at 921 East Wilson Avenue in Central Glendale. Four early physicians owned it in succession, giving the house its name. It was later occupied by silent screen icon Nell Shipman. Threatened with demolition in 1979, community activists organized to save it and formally incorporated The Glendale Historical Society on October 24, 1979.

Thanks for the story SpecialK, it certainly looks like a house with a history.

That first one is an artistic wonder as far as park benches go. The others have great colour, we haven't had too many painted benches.
