Not much left of this one. 60 years ago this was a logging camp. The cabins are gone but the old picnic table still survives, barely.

Here is another one from Lake Superior, trying to survive the ever shifting sands.

I am loving this series! The undersand image is just great! made me laugh! The close up of the butter containers is very creative and interesting... and amazing how many frosty benches there are out there! Many of these photos have a lot to with irony I suppose, and it works really well.

A couple more seats for you

The first one has been posted once before I think - I call it Coke Cola anyone.
The second one I have considered straightening several times but I like the angle. It is called Missing Sunbather.

Slowpez, love your colours! That red picnic table should be in my back yard!!

WiseOx, beautiful photo in every way, and the sepia suits it very much. (I use to live in Uxbridge and did some transcanada trail building thru Whitby)

Nice. Even though its an inanimate object, it feels like it too is taking in the view.

Hmmmmmmmm. Didn't we used to have a thread on lonely benches?

Richard.
Yes, we did I started that thread & bumped it once or twice.
It was posted as "show me your lonely benches" in the Pentax forum on Dpreview.
Just bought a Pentax Kr, so I hope to get back into the forums again....it's a nice place.
