As I'm sitting here sipping on a very nice BC blend of Merlot, Cab Sav, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot, I'm thinking about some wonderful evenings with family, friends and wine. Glad you had some good stuff too, Ron.

Whoops! I forgot to add the most important part to my previous post. Although it seems to have nothing to do with benches, that isn't so. If you google "benchlands", the following is one of the websites that comes up. The Okanagan benchlands are great wine areas, formed by runoff when the glaciers filled the valleys during the last ice age. The galciers melted, leaving the benches along the valley sides, and now we get great wine!
