Not exactly "park benches," but they are a form of public seating. I hope these qualify.

Thanks for commenting Steve! Both these shots were taken at the same park/botanical gardens. It's in the center of town, and one of the few parks not underwater, so I've been spending more time there this year.

Yeah, great planning, ya think? When the town (Grapevine) was first settled in the mid-1800's, there was no Grapevine Lake or flooding to be concerned about. That came about when the Army Corps of Engineers built the lake in 1953.
