Hey, I used (and am still using) my DA 14mm for SIJ. It's been 'interesting' and hard but I'm getting much better with it. Not sure about my creativity.

I think the wide angle is too much for 28 days.
Hands down, this month with the DA 15 was the most difficult of all the challenges for me, but also in a strange way the most enlightening.

But I'm still don't know which lens to use.
Sorry cannot help you there. I don't know which lenses you have and it is a personal choice.

If I would join - a thing that won't happen, by no means! - I would choose a Russian lens probably. The MIR-1B, my Zenitar 16, one of my Helios's, probably my Jupiter-9 or of of the Industars.....

But I don't join, so I don't have to choose....

Found one of The Hound using the IR camera...

What do you all think.. Can you stand a month of this? I guess you don't have to look if not but... I'll say one thing about it. It brings out the thrill of being photographed in his eyes.

LOL Jeff, I would.
And I think you would be surprised if he was going to have fun (or not )

Yes Iris, do join and drag Rense along.
Rense, it wouldn't be the same without you.
But if you're not up to it, I would perfectly understand and won't hold it against you.

I will respectfully sit this one out, as tempting as the length of the month is... I am looking at a very heavy month at work with days still not long enough for photography to be a regular after work activity. And I don't really own a lot of lenses so the ones I do have I have used A LOT! I really enjoyed the challenge of working in my least comfortable focal range and often surprised myself with the outcome. In the meantime I have a flash that I have barely used and an upcoming flash workshop to look forward to, but I will be back in the future.

I am going to sit this one out after all, the first one since joining the Stillshunter show back in September! So don't be too hard on me for it and go snap some great pictures for me to comment on :-)

Pentax K20D, and, apart from the DA 70/2.4 Ltd., a whole bunch of manual lenses
I like your "bunch of manual lenses".
One I used a whlie back: "An electronics box and a bunch of glassware"

What counts is not the equipment but the result.
