Challenge #39 - Graveyard

It's my honor to host PP Challenge #39 .

This photo was taken on a somewhat dreary day a few months ago. Only .jpg format available here (the way it goes, sometimes ).
No rules here, really (which I hope is good!). I messed around with this shot a few months back, but I'm interested to see a variety of interpretations.
I encourage you to use your imagination (duh! ), with emphasis on a certain wow-factor that is lacking in this current version!

The image (so you can see what you're dealing with).
Full-size is available for download here.

That red maple in the background really spoke to me as an anchor so I highlighted both it and the name Harmon.

Upped the contrast and saturation. I don't normally go this far with the color, but I wanted to pop them out from the gray.

I decided to centre the Harmon headstone and go for an antiqued sepia effect.

OK, here's my dreadful attempt (BTW, the ghost graph must be credit to Ingmar Bergman's Seventh Seal)

Love the ghost dance Manel Brand! Went for a bit of a "ghostly" look myself and made one minor subtle adjustment to the headstone wording, no disrespect intended.

(LOL) I've that thought also, but I didn't dare to disturb the death... Thanks.

Great entries so far! Each seems to accentuate a different element, which is what I was hoping for...

Still time for more entries. I'll keep it open til the 11th (a two week window).
Take some time to see what you can come up with! I'd like to see a few more

I am so bad at this but will have another go. Who knows, maybe I will improve my skills. Cropped, converted to B&W, and added contrast plus sharpened some.
