A pair of bat-eared foxes playing hard-to-see. Think this is a mated pair rather than a mother and pup, but I'm not sure that mated pairs stay together to make a team in this species.

Noelcmn images an aerial creature in the water. Here's an aquatic creature up in the air, in a manner of speaking. These denizens of mangrove swamps are a little tricky to photograph, as they tend to play like squirrels and certain beetles scurrying to the opposite side of a branch if they detect movement.

Nice one WPRESTO. Yep, they are notoriously difficult to capture.
Darter of to add some material to the nest.

Here's another sticking, rather than feathering its nest. Scan from a chrome that picked up a screen-like texture not in the original

Sometimes I've managed to get them back in view by extending my arm holding a sun hat, but if I move too fast to re-frame, they scuttle out of sight again. They never come back at the same point that they disappeared.

Martial Eagle-This is a Juvenile, since it does not have the characteristic spotted white head/chest of the adult bird. They are increasingly becoming endangered.

I'm not surprised, the way they breed. And what with very few natural enemies, it is mostly disease and infanticide that are the main culprits that bring death to Hippos.

Thanks Noel. From memory it was about 40-50 metres away. The whale (a young male humpback) was checking out the boat as much as we were checking it out.

Enjoying your bird photos. Is that a cattle egret in breeding plumage?
