I was there in 2010, beautiful country and people. Did'nt see any fish eagles though.

A giant blind snake I posted in the Alphabet thread. A lightly differerent view. So glad I saw this, as I usually only see them dead.

I spent a couple of years in the Lower Shire in the early 1970's and made several trips to the Lake. We used to sleep on the beach - colourful cichlids under the water, monkeys in the trees, fish eagles, flying by. Pre-AIDS, so it was a different world.

Watched with delight the duel between these 2 Giraffe Slow paced, much movement away from each other and then coming back together for neck butting. Does very little damage, more about status than anything else.
