Cousin 'goose? You're lucky to have him to pause long enough for a photo. Tried to get a photo of those fast, ever-moving predators on Hawaii where they were introduced around 1883 to control rats in sugar cane fields, a failure and ecologic disaster (rats are nocturnal, mongooses diurnal, so the latter never preyed on the rats, but instead began decimating the endemic birds).

Yeah, they should have done a study of their behavior, and would have discovered they are partial to birds, and have a reputation , especially as robbers of birds nests. Owls would have been better.
Here's the same fellow on the trot.

This buffalo was a long way out, and with cropping, a bit much for the Bigma.

I don't remember what this guy is, too lazy to look it up. Shot on a moving tram at a local wildlife sanctuary with the Bigma in poor light. Luckily the K3 was able to pull it off.

Different kind of puffin. We were way at the end of breeding season on Iceland, so almost none of the puffins had chicks, and only one we say was bringing little fish back to land (M got a shot of that one - I missed it). This one is a scan from a chrome.
