Willet. This particular individual posed long and steady in good light giving me a cache of about 25 images.

I always love it when the wildlife cooperates.

Not much wildlife here in the winter. Just one of our resident Canadian Geese, this one is a juvenile and was not very happy this day.

Bottlenose Dolphins in Port Stephens, NSW, AUS. We live here now and did the tourist thing when my son visited from Italy. .

Here's some info about them Port Stephens bottlenose dolphins - Publication | NSW Environment & Heritage

They are not easy to shoot - boat moving, they're moving, the water is hiding them ... My first attempt. I used a CPL on the front of my DA* 50-135. There was a very young one that was being protected by the rest of the pod. All I could get was a shot of a tiny fin.

Manatee, a somewhat slower moving marine mammal.

Came across this Great Blue Heron last year while on vacation in northern Michigan. He cooperated so well I had enough time to put the Bigma on my monopod. I actually waited for him to fly off but he was not going anywhere. I processed this in DXO Optics Pro 10 instead of Lightroom. I wanted try something different than Lightroom for a change. It was a real hazy day and DXO cleaned up the haze really well.

A not so dainty looking bird, Sandhill Crane. I think I have about exhausted my wildlife images.

Familiar green heron. In the right places, a bird quite willing to tolerate approach and sit/pose nicely.

This Green Heron hung around long enough for me to get some decent shots. He even posed for me a few times.
