American Kestrel - one of my first DSLR bird shots, from 2008. Taken at 200mm because I didn't have my 55-300mm lens (or my more recent DA*300mm) at that time.

Been a while since I last posted an image of this lioness and her cubs, from a cache of 40 or so.

One of the few occasions I have seen Baboons cavorting in water. This one seemed uncertain, while the youngsters enjoyed themselves. at one stage going completely underwater. There wa an article yesterday of a monkey that decided to use someone's swimming pool, no doubt to alleviate the excessive heat, as was the case with these baboons.
