Looks to be a male Blue Dacnis (Dacnis cayana, family Thraupidae [tanagers]). Found from Nicaragua to NE Argentina in forest edge and fields in rain forest, open forest, second growth, suburbia.

I can not believe this thread went so long without WPRESTO posting.
The ordinary everyday robin. Thank goodness for these guys or I would have nothing to practice on. Got the Bigma out today for the fist time since last fall, 500mm hand held.
