Three eider hens with, if I counted correctly, at least 26 chicks altogether.

Honey, I'm home and I brought you half a fish! K-1, Sigma 150-500 Bigmos + Kenko 1.5x TC, 1/1000 @ f/11, ISO 25600, moderate crop. I don't know why the ISO was so high so I guess the lens combo needs a lot of light or high ISO. I have a lot still to learn.

Taken with the 150~450 on a K1, this is a very deep crop.

A lone Banded Mongoose warms itself in the early morning sun- strange to see one on its own-they'r usually found in a pack. I suspected that this one was dying, but I did not wait around long enough to find out. It moved from time to time while I was there.

K3 and the Bigma @ 500mm handheld. It may seem strange to others but I rarely see Bluejays where I live.
