That's not a bird, THAT'S a bird

K 5 II + Tamron 70 - 300 mm macro zoom
Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania

my apologies to Mick Dundee:

Teenage Mugger: [Dundee and Sue are approached by a black youth stepping out from the shadows, followed by some others] You got a light, buddy?
Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee: Yeah, sure kid.
[reaches for lighter]
Teenage Mugger: [flicks open switchblade] And your wallet!
Sue Charlton: [guardedly] Mick, give him your wallet.
Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee: [amused] What for?
Sue Charlton: [cautiously] He's got a [bird]
Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee: [chuckles] That's not a [bird].
...
Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee: THAT's a [bird].

Blessed to also have seen a colony of Meerkats in Addo, and they were on the move.

Thanks .Oops, did not see that one at the back. These would be greater Kudu, though we do not have that distinction here. We only have Kudu.

things can be easy to over look

I started focusing on the zebras and then noticed the wildebeest on the horizon but something else had the attention of the zebras

do you see anything else

even knowing they are there in just a few yards from the zebras, it can be hard for me to pick out both lions if I hadn't seen the photo recently.

as far as the secretary birds go, we say quite a few, even some pairs, here is one from the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania:
