another pair of animals

another pair of animals: both young cheetahs. Obviously they were older than the mother and cub we found later in the day. This was the second of three pairs we found. We also saw a single cheetah start off on a hunt later.

we came upon these young cheetahs eating a kill in the Serengeti National Park. We weren't alone either, there was at least 3 other vehicles, all loaded with tourists busy recording the scene.

Interesting during the feeding, they would take turn, rarely feeding at the same time, the one not feeding would be looking around and watching for any other animals coming in.

Although this photo captures one looking straight at us, they were completely undisturbed by our presence and completely ignored the vehicles and the people regardless of what noise we made. We were all within 50 yards or less of them as they ate.

Some more antelopes from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, I believe the four in the foreground are Serengeti Topi (Damaliscus jimela) as is the one on the little mound, There are Thompson's Gazelles (Eudorcas nasalis) in the background as well
