A youngish spotted hyena scavenging in the riverbed. There were a lot of vultures too, but no carcass found.

A female goldfinch. Some of the males are getting close to having their full nuptial plumage, but they've been more hesitant to come down on the feeder.

a (female ?) Canada Goose, "feathering" its nest with bark it was tearing off of the tree.

I watched this goose do this several times and each time, when it tore off a piece of bark, (about 1 - 2 inches long), from the trunk, it deposited it into the nest where you see the white eggs on the lower left of the photo.

This is the first time I ever saw this type of behavior, before I had only seen a bird using feathers, pieces of grass or fiber, something soft, to feather its nest.

Green Tree Pigeon, which I love to watch, as it behaves more like a parrot than a pigeon, even hanging upside down to get at its diet of fruit.
